One day we'll make it through and no matter what,
I'll be following you, up in the sky waiting,
I'm gonna break down your defences one by one,
And one day your going to find out what we really are,
No matter where you go I'll always stay around,
I'm gonna be there one day when you fall,
Pick you up and take you to the stars,
I'll be right behind you wondering at your side,
Doesn't matter what you're doing or how far you stride,
One day I'm going to open up the clouds,
And look inside your heart to find where we belong,
I can't just let you cast aside the greatist love of all.

First poem I've written in 6 months. Got an emotional flare and decided to write...

(Some people may guess, that this is actually based on a particular person...)

I did guess that hun...but...I read this and thought, wow. For your first poem in 6-7 months, this is pretty good. I really liked this. And it's probably just me...but I can imagine these as lyrics lol. Don't mind me, weird tangent lol.

Anyway, I like the positive note in this...the determination and stuff. It's cool :) hehe, good work hunnie.

I love it...it demands the feeling of overwelming love, things that make up the drama of so many people's daily lives.

Very well written, Adam. The emotion comes through, and is well set in the imagery. I like the rhythum, the cadence of the piece, as well.
