every nite
i find myself in the same place
contemplating the same dream
hoping for a miracle.
and every time
i think i've got a hold on this
but easily i let go
easily, everything slips.
and i remind myself
that someday things will change
my heart can't mean
to be his way
coz in his eyes i kno that i'll find me
in his breaths i kno i'll find the strength to breathe
in his arms i kno i'll find serenity, but
until that day comes
i'll wait for my dream.
carefully i've
stepped on every stone
and the path i've known
has chosen to confuse me.
now, though alone
i see where i stand
i realize my demands
are more than i'm accepting.
so now i pray to God
the road won't always change
my heart can't mean
to be his way

give me good graces

when his breathing revives my soul and heals me
when his arms protect me from all but the truth
that's when i'll know
