rapid cloud races
burn across
the sky's night
darkened deeper than
anything midnight
could bring,
according to the bell struck
and crack'd.
horizontal snowfall slices
across my vision,
backlit with lightning
flashes. snowflakes,
frozen crystals, all
perfectly formed, punching
through the night air;
each are tiny stars.
terrestrial whispers ice-fallen
I reach to catch a handful.
I clutch the night air.

You know that I love this! :)
I wouldn`t dare to analyse it; I`m too afraid to destroy its beauty. It`s so powerful and expressive, I`ve been reading it again and again, and I think it`s one of my absolute favourites. :D
