i got into a free pre screening of "yes man" staring jim carry, (and his woman interest in it is really foxy too...) but it was over all, really fantastic. i'd give it 3 thumbs up, and a 9.25 overall. lost some points on the fact that jim is getting a little old, and you can tell. story itself was good, and entertaining, and a little creepy with the little cult that the old guy has goin'.
anyways. go see it.
i plan on seeing it again when it comes out officially, so i can support it with my moolas

I wondered if this would be any good. I like him more actually as he has gotten older. "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" is a favorite of mine as is "The Majestic."

i haven't seen either of those. but they sound like semi serious films, in this one he plays a comedical character, and it actually doesn't feem any more evolved than "the mask's" humor. quite a few funny faces and noises that i really didn't find all that necessary in the story. but really, overall it was very good in my opinion, it kept me entertained, and i could relate a bit with his character at the begining of the movie.

that would be the part of his acting i'm not a fan of. but again. i watch movies for the story... plus, this time when i watched it it was free. so i now know it is a good story
