Writing seems to have filled many of your needs. It allowed you to express yourself in your own way and perhaps in a way that was actually therapeutic.. I'm not big on the subject of writers block though. What I would agree to however is now that you have changed, let your writing change with you. Trying to recapture what 'once was', apparently isn't going to work anymore. Settle into your new feelings of well-being and go with you newest flows, not comparing them to the writings of yesterday.

And of course, keep posting.
I'll be looking for you Miss Emily. PDT_Aliboronz_11.gif

Emily,
I find when I have a bad case of writer's block reading a book of poetrythat I enjoy (and believe me I have plenty) or looking at a magazine with poetry in it will inspire me. If you don't have either of these things look at the magazine rack for a book of literature, or spend a few bucks on a book of the type of writing you wish to write. (The Blue Mountain Arts series are my faves). Sometimes you can even find a favorite author for not much -- I found a book of Poe's poetry (his complete works) for only $4.95 + tax.
