I got mine from frustration trying to think of a new name, in the end I said "Oh F**k It!!" and thought hey wait a min lol but then I thought na thats too long and will be filtered in school so I abbrieviated it to OFI :)

Yall need some counceling.  lol.  My original name on the RF boards was Brush 45.  It is because I map for RF (privately of course) and the first brush that ever game me any shit was number 45 on my first map.  So, I figured since I usually give people a lot of shit, I would call myself brush 45.  My new name is from my FPS playing days.  Nefarious Tool means Evil Tool.  I got really good at FPS when I had absolutely no life, and usually one every game I played.  SO ther eyou have it.

Well I go by 2 handles.  Mirage is my new one that I go by.  Barbuda was my old one.  I just thought them up.  Kinda boring I know.

Pure chance me, I was going under my real name Terry Cuthbert, when I met my total prick of a cousin on the net. I needed a new name, I did once have a stage-name, I had pen-names too, but my loser of a cousin knew most of them, he was almost a homosexual groupee  to us underground poets in the early seventies. No, not scared of him now, the poor little bugger's dead.
 Anyroad, I needed a new name, at the time I was eating a disgustingly-bitter tin of pineapples...

well 2 years ago my brother moved in with us and guys would come to my house at all hours of the day and night so my neighbor went to school calling me the "neighborhood hoodrat" so that became my nickname as for nikye my name is nikole so hoodratnikye

I needed a name for a story I was writing a few years ago and out of my mind I pulled the name "Zanobia"... that character was a horse. Well, a few years later I needed a last name for a RP character of mine and I already had a "Zan" so I called her Zenobia.... which I think sounds MUCH better. Its an awesome name!!!

I can't remember where I got mine. I think I just kinda...came up with it, lol. Oh well, it was amusing reading how everyone else came up with theirs... :D

Shiara is from the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.  It's a shortened version of the word mashiara, which means "true love, but a love lost beyond regaining."  I thought that was beautiful, so I snagged it for my name.  =)

Well, my name is Savannah and my friends and family always called me Savvy as a kid...then later, people just got tired of putting 2 v's in it (apparently it looks weird, even though it's a REAL word...meaning suave, sexy, cool...that kinda thing) and so it got shortened to Savy. Plus, people always called me angel as a child so I just put the two together. I got called a number of other nicknames as a kid, but those two fit together and I liked them better anyway. Lol.

Actually, this is the latetest  of my many online names and comes from a robot in the Fallout Series of computor rpgs.  

I have also gone by Great_Dying - named after a pet name some geologists have for the Permian - Triassic mass extinction in which 90% of all species on earth went extinct in a single event.  This is actually a good thing becaue afterwards dinosaurs arose as the dominate form of life!!!  Go Dinosaurs!

I have gone by The Green Claw, or The Green Hand - both names for the banner I use when playing P&P war games.  (A green hand on a black field, sometimes grasping the son.)

And I have gone by Ornitholestes - a medium sized Jurrassic Dinosaur (go dinosaurs! ) with a cool name.

I got mine from a short story I wrote.  It was a fairy story where the gargoyles ravage a small fairy town and this one little elf comes to the rescue.  Old, short, and wise Dakeru destroys the gargoyles.  It's childrens story now wherever I am it's always Dakeru or Dakeru_the_elf.  And no it has nothing to do with "Lord of the RIngs"

Larva is a character from Vampire Princess Miyu, and No Shi means of death in japanese. I thought it was cool. I later found out that it means death of larva because of contextual issues in japanese lol The other name I find myself using alot is CheshireCat. I got this when I started posting on a rave production company's message board, after I had been to my first rave, one of theirs. I wanted a name that identified me with what i had looked like at that rave, and I was wearing a shirt with the cheshire cat sitting on top of a mushroom holding glow sticks. The rest, as they say, is history.

Zenobia is the last name of one of my RP Characters that has nothing to do with my personality!!! LOL She's like my bitch character... her name is Zulaya Zenobia... but the name Zenobia, is Greek, it means "Given Life By Zeus" and I LOVE the sound of that. Zeus is one of my gods.
