Title: The Music of Love
Theme: music
Date: September 8 2004
Author: Armando Quiros
join me in the intertwining of souls
take my hands and let's dance to a steady lover's ballad
listen to the symphony
the melodious orchestra
composed of wind chimes whispering bells and saxophones
take part in the twilight
undress your mind and remove your shyness
caress your feelings with my hands
as i nurture my skin with yours
delight your pleasures in a sensible kiss
like the sweet taste of forbidden fruit
dive into your innermost feelings
and reach out for dancing shoes
slip them on
and spend the night away stepping in the name of love

I must say, I did like those last three lines!!
I would suggest breaking this poem up into a few stanzas. And a little punctuation maybe? I'm always asking for that, and all the young poets are telling me that it's not the new "fad".
Another suggestion, one that I learned the hard way because no one bothered tell me: don't post several poems all at once. Poets are a wimpy lot, and that quickly overwhelms them so that they don't read any of them!!
See you around,
Arthur
