Liquid Tears
Liquid Tears fall fast,
Down both cheeks,
As the rain begins to fall hard onto the ground,
Everyone begins to run inside.
Alone I sit,
Here by the old swing,
With everyone finally gone,
The tears begin to flow down.
Walking down the hill,
Coming to the raging river,
I hear your voice,
Though it seems miles away.
I beg for you to come closer,
Never answering my cries,
Down on my knees,
Feeling the rvier rage on.
I begin to scream,
Why!?
Wishing for your return,
Praying it was a big joke.
In the distance,
I hear the sound of thunder,
The sound of a dead omen,
Which is the beginning of true pain.
Hours pass by,
With the rain never letting up,
While the river continues to show it's might,
My tears match the rivers rage.

This is quite an emotional trip into your experience of loss. A powerful word picture that will find a home in the Drytear Book. Congrats James.

Thanks man, I am glad you did enjoy this poem. It's funny how one's pain can become a form of beauty to the world. Thanks again for putting me in this.

In every poem about this particular subject that I read of yours, I see something unique, as if you're putting one more piece to the mystery of death. Great job, and congratulations on getting it into the book.

Thank you much, it is a subject that is hard to deal with but if I can make beauty and reach people that go through the same problem. With each new poem I write on this topic more things are seen even to me. These are the hardest to write emotionaly, but beautiful in their own way. I do hold this one very dear to me myself. Thanks for the words.
