It's hard for me to pick a particular forum which i like the most, as i'm sure it is for most people.

But if i had to pick one it would be the miscelanous poetry forum. Because my poems tend to deal with citylife. I do like the nature, sad, and critical evaluation (will be posting there soon) forums as well.

So which forum does everyone else like the most?.

Peace.
Cyfarwydd
It completely depends on my mood.
Generally I am not a big fan of love poetry because a lot of it I just can't relate to.  I like Sad poetry and occasionally I'll venture into dark.  Spiritual can be okay.

I guess then, my favorite is sad.

I find the more raw, great emotion to be in sad or angry poetry.  But I like sad the best :).  I don't like BEING sad, but the quality of poetry people put out when sad is really, really remarkable.

I really dont have a favorite forum.  I just write about anything that i find inspirational, and usually the emotion that is conveyed isnt even the real emotion im feeling.  Like if i were to write a love poem, i usually am feeling angry or upset.  I don't know, it's weird how i write, cause it just comes out.  Most of the time i'm not even thinking, the pencil is just moving.  So I really dont have a fave.  Hehe.

I see what you mean Evengilinia, sometimes i start out with a love poem and it turns into a sad poem and vice versa.

One type of poetry which i find virtually impossible to write is happy poetry. Why is it so hard? Nichole, your right sad poetry is often high quality poetry.

Cyfarwydd, i guess your right, love poetry can sometimes be hard to relate to if you haven't been in a certain situation. But i guess every genre of poetry is like that. But is a good poem a poem that everyone can relate to? even if they haven't experienced a certain situation.

Peace.
Imprisoned_to_Sadness
its not my favorite really, but i seem to write more in the sad poetry forum. i guess hence the name "imprisoned to sadness". im usually a happy person, but i get depressed easily. long story. so my moods change more often than they need to and bad things enjoy happenning to me so you could probably just say i feel imprisoned more than usual. but i always keep a smile on my face fo everyone elses sake. i like writing in love poetry though. it always makes me feel better...i really want to post one in dark poetry. but i dont know what you consider is "dark enough"..can anyone explain?

I prefer fantasy poems. You can have almost any element from the other forums - humor, dark, angry, sad, happy etc. - into one genre while exersizing your imagination.  :D

I prefer spiritual and a bit of dark, even love when i'm in the mood, hard to pick a favourite.

Mystic and Spirituality.

As this is the only place i post my work I would say that this is my favourite forum.

My fav styles have to be dark, sad, and angry.  I just love dealing with those moods.

Yeh Rig, I would agree. My own forum is my fav. *grins* Seriously though, other than that, it depends on my mood. I've been tired of poetry lately for some reason. That's why I've been hanging out more on ForumChat. I dunno. Prolly sad b/c that's the main time I write, and I haven't been sad lately.

Thank you John.

I wish I could say my favorite forum is the happy section, but I really can't relate to anything there...so I guess sadness is the most popular so far, and I'll join the crowd. It's just so much easier to read, write, and experience sad poetry than anything else.

If I had to pick, I would choose the Miscellaneous Forum just because of the variety of different styles, moods, and feelings displayed in peoples works there.  You're not in the same mood as you go from poem to poem.  I also think some of the works are posted there.

I am not really in putting writing into categories...but I guess it's what we do...

I like to post where there is always something new and interesting to read..so I would have to say my favorite is "sad".

i have to say i like sad poetry. The best poems are written with extreme emotions, unfortunately, this is more likely to be sad than happy. If someone is dealing with a problem by writing it down on paper, i think it is great. Poetry to me, is one of the best ways ofdealing with my problems, and, if they can help someone else too, thats even better.

I guess most of my poems fall in the miscellaneous category, though I haunt the love poems too. It is interesting to visit the various forums where I don't usually post just to get acquainted with other members' poems. Most often visit: misc, love, dark, fantasy, mystic.

Angry, Sad, or Depressed Poetry. I'm a pessimist at heart.

I guess I like the haiku, nature and humorous forums since I've posted the most there. But I intend to read (and maybe even post?) in each of the forums since my mind can go in a variety of moods, depending on how I'm feeling that particular day.
