I lie in the grass.
Feeling the wind,
Breathing it in.
Sweet...
Fresh...
Invigorating...
The smell of the tropical sea air,
It tickles the senses,
Brings us alive,
Oh, how I miss it.
The sand beneath my feet
The waves on the shore
The suns blaze,
Sends most indoors.
No, not me,
Me I am the 'ano.
The one that loves the outdoors.
The wind...
The rain...
The sunny days...
I will remember you,
Until the day I return to you.
I will remember you.

Don't put yourself down, this wasn't bad. You expressed your nostalgic feelings well.
"The sand beneath my feet
The waves on the shore
The suns blaze,
Sends most indoors."
I liked how those lines read for some reason. lol I go indoors most the time when it's hot. I prefer the rain, may sound weird but it's more inspiring than sunny weather.
May i make a suggestion (ignore it if you want, i can just see potential in these lines)
Instead of:
"I lye in the grass.
Feeling the wind,
Breathing it in."
how about:
"I lye in the grass.
breathing in the wind"
I liked those opening three lines, this poem is worthy of a revision.
A good nostalgic piece, keep posting please.
Peace.

I found this a couple of weeks ago and loved it. I have a home I miss, actually two I guess...a physical one and a emotional one, so I completely understand where this came from.
And now I will send it off to the book where it deserves to be.
